A haiku a day...

Friday
Between showers we
climb up through the trees, onto
sunny spring moorland.

Saturday
Deer with a deathwish,
we swerve, he bounds away free,
into the morning.

Sunday
Breathing carefully
defeats all fears of flying,
inhale, exhale, float.

Monday
Pounding the pavements,
through puddles and relentless
pouring rain: perfect.

Tuesday
Blank page tyranny,
word documents multiply,
elusive progress.

Wednesday
Playful gusts of wind
transform my skirt into a
billowy landscape.

Thursday
The first seedling peeks
its leaves up out of the soil:
fragile alchemy.
